My child has a headache

Half of all children have a headache from time to time. It usually occurs in children who are 6 years of age or older. If a child has a headache, it is usually tension headache or migraine. Your child can also get a headache with a cold. The headache in children often lasts for a short time, a few hours. Headaches are annoying, but usually do no harm.
