You should not call if your situation can wait until your GP&#8217;s next available hours. The GP Medical Post does not issue repeat prescriptions. The GP Medical Post does not provide second opinions on what another GP has said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your call will be taken by a triage nurse (or a doctor&#8217;s assistant). Triage nurses have extensive medical knowledge and are specially trained to assess whether a person requires urgent medical attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The triage nurse will ask you to provide the following information:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>your name, address, telephone number, and date of birth<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the name of your own GP<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>your medical history (if relevant to your visit to the GP Medical Post)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the medication you are currently using<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In emergency situations, we will only ask for the most crucial information, such as your address and telephone number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Responses to your call<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Your call may be handled in various ways.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The triage nurse may:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>give you self-care advice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>book you in for a consultation with the on-duty GP at the GP Medical Post.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>arrange for the on-call GP to visit you at your home.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>arrange for an ambulance or a visit by the on-call GP as a matter of urgency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who and when should you call?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Monday to Friday<\/strong><br>5.00 pm &#8211; 8.00 am<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Weekends and public holidays<br><\/strong>24 hours a day<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Outside these opening hours<br><\/strong>Please contact your general practitioner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We want to assist as many patients as possible and be prepared for emergency situations. That&#8217;s why we plan and make appointments. Please do not come to the GP Medical Post if you have not made an appointment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>Telephone consultation<strong>&nbsp;(regardless the advice)<\/strong><\/td><td>\u20ac 35,-<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Consultation at the GP Medical Post<\/td><td>\u20ac152.83<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Home visit<\/td><td>\u20ac229.24<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Repeat perscription<\/td><td>\u20ac35.00<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>After paying your invoice, you can claim the expenses back from your insurance company (depending on your insurance)<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>These rates apply on workings days from 6:00 PM to 8:00 AM and all day at weekends and public holidays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rates are determined by the Dutch Healthcare Authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The telephone consultation, the consultation at the GP Medical Post, and the home visit are all charged for. If a patient doesn&#8217;t appear at the appointment at the GP Medical Post, a phone consultation will be charged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Payment options<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">If you have an health insurance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When you have an EHIC-card of an AON student insurance card, we can send the invoice directly to your health insurance provider.<br>Please ensure that you have the correct address and telephone details when contacting the GP Medical Post, so that we can send the invoice directly to your health insurance provider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">If you don&#8217;t have health insurance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If we don&#8217;t have your insurance details, you&#8217;ll need to pay for the consultation or treatment with a debit card at the GP Medical Post. The costs for a telephone consultation or a home visit by the on-call GP, are charged by invoice that we send to the home address known to us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please ensure that you have the correct address and telephone details when contacting the GP Medical Post.
