What does a visit to the General Practitioner cost?

Every contact with the General Practitioner Tilburg/Waalwijk costs money. We also have to charge for a telephone consultation. The basic insurance covers the costs of the general practitioner and of contact with the General Practitioner. It does not deduct from your deductible.

Are you insured? Then the bill goes directly to your health insurer.
Are you not insured or are you unable to identify yourself? Then you pay the costs of the consultation directly when you visit the General Practitioner Tilburg or Waalwijk. You can only pay by pin and the payment must be made prior to the consultation. You will then receive a proof of payment, which you can submit to your health insurer yourself.

The rates from 1 January 2025 are:

• Telephone consultation: €35,00
• Consultation at the General Practitioner: €160,12
• Home visit: €240,18
• (Repeat) recipe: €35,00

The rates from 1 January 2026 are:

• Telephone consultation: €35.00
• Consultation with the General Practitioner: €198,43
• Visit at home: €297,65
• (Repeat) recipe: €35,00

These amounts have been determined by the Dutch Healthcare Authority.
